ROSIN AND TURPENTINE FACTORIES NAHAN AND BILASPUR

The management of the Rosin and Turpentine oil Factories at Nahan and Bilaspur was transferred to the Corporation with effect from 01.04.1974. There has been since then marked increase in resin processing for rosin and turpentine oil production. Sale proceeds have registered a quantum jump, during the past so many years on account of concerted efforts by the Forest Corporation.

The total installed capacity of the R&T Factories is 1,11,000 quintals per annum i.e. Nahan 37,000 quintals & Bilaspur 74,000 quintals of raw resin.
